podcast instructions

1. 1)If you do not have iTunes, please click HERE to download the program for Apple or Windows...iTunes is a free program that helps to organize and categorize your music...if you have an iPod or an Apple computer, then you already have iTunes.
   

2. 2)Please install iTunes on whatever computer you are using.
   

3. 3)If iTunes prompts you to make an AppleID, you do not need one to download and subscribe to our podcast.  The AppleID is simply for if you wish to purchase songs, movies, tv shows, etc... from the iTunes store.
   

4. 4)On the left-hand side of iTunes, you will see a list of different categories within iTunes.  You will click on the link directly underneath “Store” labeled “iTunes Store”.  This link has a shopping bag icon next to it.
   

5. 5)When the iTunes Store loads, it will bring you to the home screen.  From there you will locate the “Search iTunes Store” field in the top right-hand corner.  In that field you need to type “Sundays @ Piedmont”.  One podcast should appear with Dwight “Ike” Reighard.
   

6. 6)Underneath the icon you should see the words “Free” and the button “SUBSCRIBE”.  To see all the podcasts that Piedmont has, click on the black text “Sundays @ Piedmont”.  To subscribe to the “Sundays @ Piedmont” podcast, you need to click the subscribe button.  iTunes will then ask you if you are sure you want to subscribe to this podcast, you will then click “yes” or “ok”.
   

7. 7)iTunes will then begin downloading the most recent podcast added to your “Podcasts” category under “Library” on the left-hand side of your iTunes window.  If you click on “Podcasts” iTunes will show you all of the podcasts you have downloaded already and all the podcasts that are available to download from the ones you have subscribed to.  If you click on the grey arrow next to a podcast name, all the podcasts available will appear.  The “black text” podcasts are the ones already downloaded and the “grey text” podcasts have yet to be downloaded.
   

8. 8)To begin downloading the podcasts in “grey text” just click the button “GET” beside the podcast name.  To begin downloading all the remaining podcasts, click “GET ALL” and iTunes will begin downloading all the remaining podcasts.
